Think hard.
What's the meaning of life? What is your purpose in life? Have you ever wondered why you exist in this world? Perhaps this will keep you moving on.

Do you feel that life in this earth is full of sorrow, full of weariness and stress?
We can be of great and successful people in the world yet still have a sense of emptiness in our hearts. Otherwise, you could feel that you simply lose out to this world, full of regrets and feel that life is meaningless.

The bible says that we are to set our mind on the things above and not on earthly things. For the things on earth is temporal but what is set above is eternal. I am thankful for Jesus Christ, who came and died for us on the cross, redeemed us from the curse and for that, given us life so abundantly. I am thankful for my family, friends, New creation church and all the resources around me that has allow me to know and experience Jesus' love for me.

For that I really find contentment and joy in my life. We were created not to dread life but to enjoy life through Jesus. He is not a thing to described, He is someone for you to find out and to experience Him yourself. If you have any regrets that has been holding you, plaguing you and keeping you from moving on, we simply can't move backwards but ought to look forward and look at Jesus. He who is almighty can turn all your bad circumstances for good. I thank God that my life in JC has been fulfilling and it will be even better for the days to come. Though I've made a choice to retain and previously still a little regret, I know that He has good plans for me. I am not looking backwards, I am moving on slowly, but still running in the grace of God.

Take time to think about your purpose in life. God has created us not to be sorrowful and not to be bitter. He has given us life that we might experience the love, joy and peace through Him.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

After 1-2 months of consideration, I've decided on my choice..I'm following my heart, that's to repeat J1. I wanna go slow on my own pace rather than having myself worried all the time. So my dear friends if you don't see me in class, that's because I'm in orientation! hahas. I think Mr Tan will be extremely disappointed with me but am really thankful for Mr Tan's teaching this past 1 year though many a times I 've been sleeping in his lecture. lol. Message to my favourites!

Chinwon: I love you! U're really awesome. I'll remember the time when we mugged together at starbuck! Thanks for helping cacak so much during that promo period! I am secure in Christ and everything is gonna be good according to His plans for me! Wooohoo! CCA wise, i am not going to join guitar cus i don't wanna play "yesterday"! It's near the end of 2009! =D
This year has been really awesome to me though there are so many ups and downs, especially when i have brothers and sisters in Christ with me! Interesting people made my life interesting!

Next year, 2010 will be the best year yet! The Lord has already planned things ahead for us and we just gonna believe and receive his blessings! He has already perfected my way! I'm just gonna Rest in His work! Though next year is A level year, Daddy God is just gonna help me with all the trials and keep me going till the end! Lets labour to enter His rest and enjoy the ride in 2010=D

I'm promoted! =D ok to be specific, i am advanced.
I was the last one in my class to receive the results and i was superbly nervous and bit worried. so when Mr Tan walked towards me, and passed me the results, he bent down and said, " Adeline, you made it..." His tone was serious, and i thought he wanted to talk long story or even console me that time. hahas.I've never expect to get promoted but the very most getting to do sup-paper or even worse retain. I had very little faith in myself because my standard for bio, chem and econs has always been U! Who will expect me to pass for promos! It's really the undeserved favor from God that i am able to get promoted=D Thank God, and thank SG 18 too! Thank God i am still with SG 18 next yr hehes. And i will still be able to see charmaine in bio class(which seriously makes me puke sometimes..lol.jk) Since shandong trip is cancelled, i shall use the time wisely and make an effort to build up my foundation! I m feeling so great now=D
And also, its a good chance for those taking sup-paper to revise this time, and you guys can definitely get promoted=D Mr Tan is still our chem teacher next year! hahas

The computer is really a distraction!
I was working on op script and here i am blogging now..
I am actually quite relief after WR is finalised and i m going to sign my big big signature on the cover page tomorrow! Thank God my pw mates have been very cooperative! I am waiting for these 3 dates to come..First, on 2 Nov- MT exam, then 11 Nov- Oral presentation!! My gosh i m super nervous for this! After that is FRRREEEEEDOOOMMM! hahas..Then i wanna go out with the girls! We haven't meet for a long long time! And then also with CACAK! Yes! 6 Dec as well! i cannot believe i am going shandong with Charmaine..This is incredible man. How am i gonna tolerate her in China when i already feel irritated seeing her in school! hahas jkjk. In times when i am faithless, i know that my God is always faithful. I have deep deep revelation and i know that He has blessed me in ways that i can't really see. You know, it's just the inner joy and peace that He has given me.
I had bowling at OCC this morning and then CIP at temasek poly. I was feeling terribly tired and i almost couldn't make it for CG. But thank God CIP ended early and i manage to rush for cg. Though tired, but He just refreshed me during the sharing.

This is somthing i read form other's blog and i am blessed after reading it=D

This week is really hectic, seriously tired.
PW is making me tired. Expecially when i have to face the com for long hours.. I hate it.
I was tired to the extend that i dropped my precious laptop when walking to my room.
I lied that i accidently kicked the vacuum when my dad ased where the noise was from. lols. PW process makes me realise who are the good friends i have in school. WR's "deadline" was ytd yet part B of the project was not even half done. And that was super worrying.
Having said that i really thank those friends who offer some ideas in and giving our group support and i enjoy working with the other groups together! we definitely have some conflict here and there for friends who do not turn up for discussion!!

Expecially for christine's group, i was shock when i witness the scene. Christine its ok! u ppl can do much better without her!! lols. And here i really wanna say i love Denice to the core. Really thank her for putting so much effort in the WR n bringing all members to come tgt! 16 days to promo? and i haven touch any subjects. i have math, bio, econs and chem, which means that i have 4 days for each subject. wooohooo. God shall bless my promo with my very minimal studies!!

Soooo real=)
I had my GP and chinese paper yesterday.
Usually i would panick for paper 1 and then mind will go blank. That was what happen to block test and i failed. This time i really put my trust in God and prayed that whatever i have studied will come out for test. So for paper 1 i wrote everything quite smoothly..hahas..At least better than block test. 5 mins later, was paper 2. I was really surprised when i opened up the paper. The comprehension was on famine! I have read the article before!Its really hard to believe that of so many news the one i read came out.Hahas.

After that we went to the most peaceful place in YJC to slp while some others study for their chinese. chinese paper was boring. 15 mins to the end of paper 1, luo xiao jing said," ni hai you 15 fen zhong de shi jian ke yi yong ci dian" panicked.. I had so many blanks in my paper. i couldnt finishing finding all the words as i was using the manual chinese dict. Nvm, paper 1 ended but it was not collected back. Went on with paper 2. 4 words that i did not managed to find in paper 1 was in paper 2. hahas.. COPY-PASTE! Super amazinnnggg!

Yesterday was superduper good day. Went home and we saw HONGNA AND JIALI! Had a punch from Jiali on my arm! u will get it back on Mon! hahas..

I do get pissed off at times..Thats the devil deed!..but rest assure i get back to God and everything went good. For i know i have always see SG 18 as the best SG i have gotten, there are still little little squabble between some of us esp in the case of pw. I have the urge to post after looking at hongna's post.i miss those time we have in sch together=) Ups and down we are together. Bring me back to my sec sch days~~~miss waiting for hongna at the traffic light. e four of us siting at one row in class. The shouting in class and across the canteen! and recess time meeting yiling for meal. Having duties of returning plates to the bin etc etc. Those days where we smuggle ikan billies to class. Hongna n Jiali too=D understands my problem most of the time esp those diff days. not only this but i actually miss the people in 4e1.. Charmaine sitting in front toking nonsense. ok this is never ending..Doing sin cosine tangent reminds me of Mr Ng and Mr lathif. Those cute teachers are hard to find in JC ..lol. i m glad u girls do well in sch..Yiling doing well in microbio, scoring 80++ ..How to score this marks in JC? lols. \

woohooo.. i m slacking nw..eh basically rewarding myself with a long holis!!
i shall comment bout my block test..
i was supposed to do 2 essays quest for econs but i did only 1..that's because i simply didnt read the questions carefully..25 marks gone..and after test i found out that Christine, as blur as me..did only one quest too..See christine, when u have blur fren like me u become blur too..lols jk..k tts it for econs..i wasnt realy disturbed by that..ITS JUST BLOCK TEST! chem + math test was relatively easy as compared to other previous test. When i say its easy, i really trust the Lord to bless my result..i've never ever passed my first math test. N this time shall be a miracle! same for chem, though MCQ was quite diff but somehow paper 2 i did it quite confidently, as in i hope i can pass=) i shall see improvement from there! As for bio, i didnt really touch bio during holis so results willl be quite expected. The day after block test! CTG 103 outing! A bunch of super-enthu ppl!

Despite being busy, i m still very happy!!!
i encounter failure esp for math..demoralised but friends were there to cheer me on for the retest..and other subs..i hv said many times bout failing la..i shall not elaborate..lols..

And i enjoy guitar time with YONGQIIII!! Though most of the time we were slacking..
one day we will become a professional guitarist..hahas
My econs teacher is going to leave for a course after June..and the bad news is tt aminah maybe teaching us..The news was shocking for the whole SG ok..i have alrd had MC 3 times within 4 months this year..if she is going to take us for econs..MC will definitely multiply by 2 ..The fear aminah instilled on my friends esp yongqi, is way beyond what i thought of Aminah..so much so that yesm n yongqi went to the doctor for MC just to skip aminah's lecture..we had so much scolding from her..be it in tutorial or lecture..lol..She is like a Tiger when she shout at us man! what to do? pray that she has other things to occupy so she wont have time to take our class..

This wk is quite relax for me..except for math test this Thurs..n i hv plan to skip sch tmr..i shall see if i should pon sch..lols
and i m going to Sentosa for math trail next wk!! wooots

Many of us are looking for jobs during the holiday.
why?
what can we do without $$
and when all of my friends are looking for job i hv de urge to look for one as well.
so finally thru internet, newspaper bla bla bla..we found hope..(starhub job)
we went to international plaza for a job interview..
little did we realise..
we tio pian..
its just a job agency who basically would hv their commision thru our job if they found one.

hongna n jiali signed up unwillingly n noe what, jiali disagree with the terms n conditions applied.
yesmeen and i gave up..
disappointed n u may say desperately..
we went to buy de newspaper..
flip through de recruit pages..
like those u seen on shows..

take out ur pen..
n start circling de jobs u hope u can get..
den we found a job at payalebar
there are only two vacancies so hn n i decided to go for de interview which is today.
though its far..but we dont mind. but who noes.this may be our impulse decision..n we may regret it if we really take up de job.

so i started asking my bro for his opinion..
n tt was when i noe getting a job isint really easy..
n ytd i was near tears when my bro persuaded me to stop looking for jobs as it may affect my studies.
he works far frm de north n he actually told me hw tired he was after a day work.

so i hv decided not to go for de interview..
den i persuaded hn..
n thank God she dropped de idea too..
n a really big thank to my bro..

we cannot expect high pay..
furthermore we haven got O level cert.
